sub intensity

It's a sealed enclosure-
thank god. try turning your sub all the way down to nothing, put on the offending song turn it up to a 'good'//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif level, then gently turn the sub up until it fills in the very bottom end.

It's a sealed enclosure- I am starting to think it's a combo of recordings, and this is the first truly balanced system I have ever had.
recordings do vary A LOT in 'production' but you should be able to enjoy any recording if the system is good?

Maybe his nice system is truly revealing how crappy the recordings are? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

The total sound is extremely detailed and well matched, there are just some albums I used to regard as sounding great that still sound good, but don't have the impact I remember

which albums? cmon be honest;)

Well, the Red Hot Chili Peppers Blood sugar *** magic album- pretty cleanly recorded and has really pounded in every system I have ever built. I think I am just used to poorly balanced systems and have to relearn with this one.

Queensryche is an older 90's rock band, but the album Empire had a ton of hits on it, and had some POUNDING bass. You have likely heard several songs off that album without realizing it.
