Best Bang/Buck Sub for a Hifonics ZX7500 Amp?

Amp Specs:

2 Channel Zeus Series Amplifier 2 x 250 Watts @ 4 Ohms Stereo 2 x 500 Watts @ 2 Ohms Stereo 1 x 1000 Watts @ 4 Ohms Bridged

I've heard it's overrated, but how much? I'm thinking about an Leathal Injection sub. Gotta research Adire Tempest, but I need some recommendations. I've already got a big ported box that my Cerwin-Vega is in, and I wanna drop that like it's hot, but find something to put in the box.

BTW I'm looking for a 12" sub.

Specs say 1000RMS @ 4ohms, but I have a feeling it might be a little overrated.

Can I get some input on Leathal Injections vs. Adire Tempest?

I would sell it for 90 plus shipping. Its in decent shape with barley any scuffs on the rubber surround.

If you plan to run 1000 watts then you need a sub that can handle that type of power. And if you are only going to run one sub, you need a dual 2 ohm wired in series to show that amp a 4 ohm load (which it should be happy with whether it's overrated, underrated, or rated XXXXXX!!)
