Sub doent make sound??

its not the connections b/c i switched to a diff. sub to see if it was the amp and it was working soo...

is ur sub moving at all? if its blow then it will be moving but will sound like crap. also if ur sub is ssealed off inside a box then take it out and make sure a wire didnt come out

If you have a DMM (digital multimeter) check the voice coils to see if they are good. Is this the same sub u was saying was going on and off, if so you probably finished the blowing process... where the sub cannot even operate. And like capone said make sure the wiring inside the box is correct. And if it's completely blown it will not move at all... or VERY little... or HIGHLY distored.

It doesnt move at all. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif It didnt even go thru the process of sounding crappy then barely moving. It just stopped? :banghead:I took it out of the box and wired it up to my home system and still no sound. So i dont know wat the hell to do.

If you took it out and hooked it up to a different source then 99 times out of 100 it's the sub. If that's the case then unless you have the tools to dissasemble and reassemble a speaker then you cannot fix it. If it's under warranty and had it installed then just ship it back. If you aren't a certified installer and installed it your self then your probably out of however much you spent on them.
