sub destroyed my box

Looks to me like the problem was caused by the screws holding the sub in. The holes where not pre-drilled and it caused the baffle to split. Also it looks like some screws where not even in straight and came out the side of the cutout. On the piece broken off, it looks like a screw got in between the 2 pieces and pulled them apart.
Notice the lateral crack in the baffle, in the first pic. That's from not pre-drilling the holes big enough for mounting the baffle, not from mounting the sub to the baffle. Its a combination of several problems including not pre-drilling properly, placing the sub too close to the edge, apparently making the cut-out too large, and not having the baffle be the over lapping cover piece. As I said before, even with the two relatively small pics of the box we have, its obvious its design and construction were quite lousy. Mobileman built it? Im surprised. Very surprised.
