sub destroyed my box

box cant think of the dimension off hand some thing around 4.3 cubes after dispacment sub was a aq hd 315 old school.. the second pic is of the is a scuff that went through the sourond n am wander the best fix? havent heard it since it happend how bad do u think it will effect it..i had srews n all holes and it was still ripping out for sum reason.

looks like that lip that broke was too skinny. next time dont cut it so close, use t-nuts, double baffle.

I dont think thats the problem really. Looks to me like little to no wood glue was used. That part broke out, and did not take any material off the joining panel with it. Looks like a crappy bond.

i riped the joints loose on a prefab box i had it riped the whole top peice of wood off on all sides i know not that hard but i thought it was cool

x2 on what BJ said, a truly strong wood bond will not break at the joint, but rather take a chunk of the adjoining wood instead.
