street max build on the CHEAP!!!

there's no Audiopipe dealer in Canada. so pretty much if it isn't JL Audio, Pioneer, Alpine or Rockford . . the average person hasnt heard of it, and for that reason I have never run any of those brands.. but I have been running the same B-52 subs and RoDEK RA280 amp since like 1996.. well I did buy a new amp ( new to me) in September. A Harrison Labs 1600 audio engine amp

What did you think of the Harrison?? I ran one for 7 plus years and it never let me down and my DD loved it
I just metered it today with two bottom of the line infinity 1252w single 4ohm subs and it clamped 900+ watts and 140.5db at 2 ohms vehicle sealed sensor on the dash in my dodge Durango

im gonna guess I'll have it playing on Monday/Tuesday with a meter. .

going ice fishing tomorrow and then a friends place Sunday. .

ps.. I dont know how to post that video from photobucket other than how I did.. am I putting the wrong link

yeah his name is will lievers. he has a suzuki swift that won the national championship 2012 in street max with a 156-157 i believe. 2 18s in his wall. rip rock knows how to get loud for sure. that dude is nuts.
well I got a little ways to go before I break into the 150's.. maybe I'll be able to do it today. . still have a lot of work to do.

I love this build log, all done on the cheap and it will be louder than people spending double the money
as of right now.. im back at $1500 but im also only running just the 2 audiopipe 1500d amps..

ok so I couldn't stop myself from throwing some sound to this box... so late last night I grabbed some 4 gauge I had left over.. the tiny stock 650 cold cranking amp battery and burped it at 60 hz

here's the video. keep in mind the car isn't running. my battery was only at 13.8 and I have no Idea what it dropped to. my starting impedance was 2ohms again I dont know what it rose to but i will clamp it and see what it does for power and rise. I have to seal off the holes yet from all the power wire under the hood and the wall entirely lol.. anyways I had too play it once..

shook the **** outta m house! !

147db and change. . I am not done... it will be LOUD! !

well I ran it a couple times now that the box is finished. but I cant play it much since I dont have the battery and my volts are seriously dropping and it cut out once and shutdown the two amps.. and I dont want to cook them.. here's the clamped numbers and voltage. ..

A.C. amperage 20.51

A.C. voltage 102.4

D.C. voltage (starting 13.1 - dropping 11.2)

Impedance (starting 1.9 ohms - rising 4.99

Total RMS output 2100 watts

here's a picture from the side showing how close to the pillars I made it

and picture from the door

and a picture looking from the hood straight at the box.

I have to try a few things to lower impedance rise but im seriously surprised this amp is putting out 2100 watts at 4.99 ohms strapped.. and surprised it's doing 147.5 db legal with 2100 watts.. it only gained .5 or so db sealing off the wall but it could be more and im just having voltage issues restricting me from seeing a higher output (due to testing it off a battery sitting on the garage floor)

anyways the wife is going out of town for the week.. and it just happens she's going be in the same city the xs power 3100 is! !

once I get that the system is completed .. well the street max cheap build anyways. . then I will be putting 10× the power with the stetsom 7k2d amps! !
