I know JL but I have never messes with the imagine splits. They where good but I choose Hertz. Since I moved I have no more Hertz hook ups so a sub is out of the question for now.

The JL goes for around $350. I would pay it since I already know what they can do.

I got to mess with a Dayton and didn't care for it. It wasn't muddy or boomy, not sure what it was but I didn't care for it. The CCS I know nothing about.

If the v3's are anything like the v2's they are pretty good sounding subwoofer.

Same SQ with a tick more output and extension. Direct swap comparison. The v3 says to need less airspace but I think it pretty good about 50% over recommended.

Both are great drivers that you won't go wrong with, another sub I might point out to you in that price range is the Audiomobile Elite 2210 Company | Audiomobile. Pretty bad*ss sub right there, so much so I'm redesigning my trunk for 3 of them.

I tried finding some before with no luck. As for amps I'm down to 3. JL XD600, JBL MS-A500, Focal solid 1. XD is more than I want to pay any I don't see it being the cost difference better. JBL would match the MS-8 nicely. Focal is.. Well it's Focal and a great amp
