nope its 35

also doesnt change your fked up port area. See the port area per foot, 12 is basically the minimum up to 16. You are at 9.5

Ok im not gonna argue it. Either way it doesnt matter. Were beating a dead horse here. The entry level sub i bought was not the sound i was looking for. Im goona deal with it until i can upgrade.

No, you bought a sub, fked up on the box and blamed the product. Typical noob sh*t. Everyone that properly ran an hd200 knows it plays lows easily, not a low end monster but it plays it fine.

You'll have the same problem with every sub if you dont change the approach you take on box building.

No the enclosure makes all the difference. I've heard lots of entry lvl woofers sound great and lots of high end sound like crap because of the install. The enclosure is like 94.763% of the install.

ever occur to you that that box is fked up as well? Might need to hire a proper box designer man. Give me the old box specs and i'll put that to the chopping block as well. I guess just because you say so means that no one else will get good results from using these cheap subs right?

10s playing 28hz with authority. OH look a box for 10s has the same port width as your box for two 12s. HOLY SH*T

the 10s actually have a lower FS than the 12 and a higher QE!

its not a lack of port area for sure and its tuned to 32. maybe the box isn't sealed off properly I dont know but by no means are those driver lowend monsters..

Box is tuned to 35.4 with overly low port area. Torres and xplicit calcs dont lie.

vent match is more than low enough. i don't think that is the problem.

i told him its possible that hte box isn't properly sealed which is very possible.

like i said the woofers where recommended to someone who wanted sick lowend and with a FS of 39 hz i would have NEVER recommended that specific driver.

while he may have fcuked up the box id rather try to help his seal it and or build a better one..

jeff his port length is strictly the length of the wood. you have to add the 1.5 for the thickness of the baffle and he put the baffle on the outside of the front baffle so it take up no space.

so with that being said. its tuned between 34-35. which might i add is NOT high. hell your box is tuned to 36. this woofer just instnt the great bottom end woofer.

until he makes sure there are no leaks and can attest that the dimensions are right its pointless. i just honestly dont think a sub with a FS of 39 wll dig very deep. even if it was tuned to 28 as compared to other woofers they have a FS of 7-9hz higher. hell the 10 has a lower FS. not clue what they hell thats about..
