Stereo redo, round 2! 1200 watt suggestions please.

Long story short I sold my boat with stereo so here I go again in my new one. MB Sports F21 Tomcat for you fellow boaters.

I already have a JL HD1200/1 I would like to utilize in this build. The box will be ported firing out in the huge open cavern in front of the drivers seat. SPL in a boat seems pointless, so I'm really looking to get the most punch out of a single 12 with my little amp. I had a solo 12 in my last boat and always wanted to step into something different but never did. I looked at a SA x12 a few years back but don't even know if they're still being made. I also looked at a DD I think it was a 2500 or something like that. Sorry for my inexperience, just looking for some guidance for a high excursion sub that will play in the open field environment of a boat. Thanks to anyone willing to help me.
