That is a SICK box. I would love that in my truck. I'm just not willing to remove my center piece and middle seat. Plus, 2 more inches in my truck is cutting it close for comfort. That Dodge might have a lot more room to begin with.

If you can return the cvx's, than do it! Those things are soooo overpriced for what they do, lol. You can get KILLER subs for what those go for.

Yeah I'm open for ideas. I just want a good system. I'm already incredibly happy with my mids and highs.

I said I had competition subwoofers, but I meant Kicker Comp VX Subwoofers. They are 600RMS each. Haha, the Kicker Comps are garbage =P

Not necessarily. They sound good on low poer from what I've heard. But you if you want LOUD, than you need less cone area (for a proper enclosure to fit) and more power handling.

Aside from the leg room I'm not willing to give up, isn't it only 300RMS? Would I really see an improvement over my 2 10"s at 400RMS?

it will take twice that in 2.3 cu ft. with 25 sq inches of port.

Just as much as some brands are infamous for overrating their equipment, some are famous for UNDERrating.

trust me it went through my head... 8s and single cabs are so popular.. its cool to see some more cone area in a smaller cabin sometimes. but whatever the op wants. the e 15 will walk all over the sa8v2 for cheaper. imo

The seller's a cool dude, and would even help you make sure they went into an enclosure that would be right for one of them. I can personally vouch for his subs. One's sitting three feet from me, right now.

I don't know how comfortable I am with buying from someone in the forums. I'd rather buy from a retailer where I can get them fast and even return them.

I think I'm going to drive down to my local audio place tomorrow, see what input they have, and work from there. I very well might have to buy a new box. I just want to see what they have to say before I start custom fabricating a box for my truck.
