Someone's gotta say it: Nancy Pelosi needs to piss off.

Yes, all you're doing is complaining about Obama without any actual substance to back up what you're saying.
really? how long of a book do you want?

August 2007 Wright told Obama in an interview that come general election time they would "have to part ways"--want the article?

That Friday after Obama said he never heard Wright talk like that the next Monday in his speech he admited that he heard crap like that.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif do you remember? Does that count as a lie or a flip flop?

How about his funding for the presidential election? Does that count as a flip flop? Do I need to go dig that up for your viewing pleasure?

Iraq war? How many times has he said different time frames? How about talking to our enimies?...Do you need me to dig that up too? This is/was all national news..if you say it lacks substance all I can say is wtf have you been? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Obama gets big crowds in Oregon and Germany...both places had a free concert and the Germans had free beer too boot....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I mean, heaven forbid someone actually thinks before they speak.
why are you choosing to put on blinders to obama's elitist and marxist politics? this is why there are so many annoying obama supporters. the guy can do no wrong, even when speaking from the side of his neck. are you supporting obama to prove to yourself, and everyone else, that you aren't racist? if a white politician said some of the things that obama has, the dems would have a field day. even before he was the nominee. they bashed romney because of his religion, and in the same breath, gave obama a pass on his whacko racist reverend. there are many examples of how the democrat geese just blindly follow anyone who vows to give them stuff. you are being bribed, and it's not even a very good bribe.

1. The Reverend Wright issue should not have been an issue in the first place. He said some bad comments, but in the grand scheme of things, he saved thousands of children from being on the streets and gave them somewhere to go instead of walking around in the slums. Naturally, they took his comment and ran with it. Look up the video of where he spoke on PBS. The day after, people everywhere were hailing him as a visionary.

2. Cry me a ****ing river, this is politics. I think McCain flip flopping that he wouldn't and then would raise taxes is a bit more grave than how you raise money for your election.

3. I'm sorry that gathering new intelligence makes you change your previous assessments. I didn't realize that it wasn't okay for people to have ideas then get them reviewed by experts and then you revise your previous plans. Note, he did exactly that last week when he met with commanders on the ground including this guy named Gen. Petraeus whom people think he's never considered.

4. Again, I'm sorry if you're afraid of having foreign policy after Bush decided not to use any, but talking to our enemies is exactly what we need to do instead of just attacking and lying to the people. Every other world power does it, but we don't because we're Billy Badass to the rest of the world. A little humility and courage goes a long way.

5. I'm sorry that he's popular, man, you really shouldn't have people vote for you when running for president.

Anything else that you picked up soundbytes from on the TV that you want me to clarify?

Yeah, I haven't shown that I know his policies backwards and forwards many times before on this site. Just be quiet unless you actually want to debate something. Attacking me does you no good.

For the most part, the anti-Obama stance is illegitimate...for every mis-step from Obama, McCain has at least matched it (including the crazy Reverend part). If anything, we should be denouncing the candidacy of both parties and trying to understand why democracy continues to fail the country miserably (although the very nature of the system tells us why it is failing).

Mind you, I could never forgive Obama for voting in support of the FISA amendments. He says it is something he would re-visit as President....I say...too late.

1. too who? that *** clown is a racist pig. i wouldnt have anything to do with a white man talking about black people that way either. He also has a strange past...he calls Farrakhan a gift from god.....he went to Libia in 1984 with Farrakhan to protest FOR terrorists LOL.

2. If Obama does it why does it matter if McCain does? It cant be a positive for one and a negitive for the other...besides that Obama lied about Lou Dobbs bigger than shit. Said he was zenophobic and was anti immigration...lied about statistics to back up his point....fact is Obama is all for illegal immigration so American bussiness owners can reap the benifits of cheaper labor with no rights. Lou is for more LEGAL immigration so Americans can have a chance at those jobs and the immigrants have workers rights...anyone who calls Dobbs racist is a tool and should really realize who he is married too and know his history LOL.

3. all Obama does is tell you what you want to hear with no plans...he has done nothing in his past to show he can accomplish anything...hell he refussed to help with **** shop zoning in chicago LOL

4. I was hoping you would say this but his "rethinking" just shows poor judgement on the basis of WHY he is running to begin with..he doesnt have a clue and he uses other tactics to draw more people to his speeches than he or the liberal media says...

5. When you are as under qualified as he is I wouldnt vote for him either...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I'd rather have America making its own oil in 10 years than still be buying it from other nations in 10 years... The here and now isn't all that's important //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
If you want oil dependancy in 10 years, you are as dumb as you think Pelosi is.

Who says we can't do both at the same time? We can have our cake and eat it too. Drill now, work on alternatives in the meantime, and when alternative fuels become cost-effective, make the switch and phase out petroleum.
Of course we can't do that. Makes too damn much sense.

No, we cannot. The math doesn't work out that way. Energy investors aren't going to invest in both because that is stupid. They invest in what generates the greatest return.

The government doesn't do all the work here, buddy. That's the beauty of a free market system. Government scientists aren't developing hydrogen-powered cars. If they were, we would be lucky to have them by 2096 and I still wouldn't want to ride in one.
Private businesses do it. The automakers make the cars. Energy companies are finding ways to produce hydrogen. Get a grip mang.
Hydrogen is produced naturally by a variety of mechanisms. And harnessing hydrogren isn't exactly easy.

And government IS developing alternative fuels for a variety of the DoD aircraft.

we will still need oil in ten years even if we had all the "new fuels" and energy avalible today...not only that on a world market it would still have a high value.

why cant people invest in an energy portfolio? some places already do it with windmills LOL

1. Think what you will; Wright should never have been made into an issue. McCain has had worse on his side, but I don't bring it up because I don't let it reflect his stance on the issues. I suggest you do the same.

2. Again, not once have I called McCain out on his flip-floping (which he does QUITE often) because it's political and has been happening for ages, so no, I don't care. You brought it up with Obama, end of story. Talking about Lou Dobbs as being a source on anything is just as bad as using O'Reilley.

3. No, Richard Lugar definitely didn't come to my highschool over 2 years ago and talk about him and Obama speaking with the Russians a bout nuclear arms treaties. Nope, he's never done anything. I suggest you put up some substance that McCain has done if you're going to attack Obama.

4 & 5. More complaining, you seem to be getting good at this

Electrolysis requires more petroleum fuel to extract hydrogen than you get hydrogen in return.

Yes, but what will the oil be needed for?

can we get off oil for heating oil? transportation etc?

Investments into alternative fuels are rather directed and specific from what I have researched....for instance, most "energy" people are diversifying out of oil and into other things...like water.

This is the EXACT reason why this country is in such deep shit now: people voted against someone instead of voting for their opponent. It's only when you get a year or two in that you see **** I should have voted for someone instead of just voted against someone and now we're stuck with this idiot only because the other guy isn't running negative ads.
