YES! you have to be so careful with those. People go to great lengths to make them look official, and say you have to re-enter your credit card info and stuff to validate your account otherwise it will be cancelled in 2 days. Darn.. That is EXACTLY what I did. Ebay is discussing it with me now. It looked EXACTLY like an eBay email.. It required the ATM card I use for eBay, and my SS number... God I am an idiot. Time to call the bank.

That's why when you sign up for an account, they state they will never ask for personal information in an email. I guess you failed to read that.
