I got (what I assume to be) a bullshit email asking me if they could use a Western Union transfer to pay for the computer. And then they will pay for shipping, and they live in Europe (sound like a familiar scam to anyone?) If I wouldnt have gotten that email, I would have never known I had auctions going....

yeah i got something to become a powerseller and i clicked on the link... thats were they got my shit, but i changed my pw but my ebay account was banned.. then after 17 emails... i got pissed and called them and blew it all on them, bcuz i was the victim and my account was still banned and i cursed in the phone and emails, but i just made a new account. just make sure u dont click on any ebay links that u get in ur email or paypal ones and change ur PW every month.

The Powerseller shit was exactly what I got.

Done and done.. I am not sure what to do about the CC number though. So they CAN use it for online buys I guess. Can they send something to an address other than the billing address? We are moving next week, so the address will be changed. We called the bank, and let them know. The woman said shell keep an eye on the account for an unusual activity, because she knows my mom will only be paying bills and what not with the account.

Yes, thats pretty true. If I would have read all of eBays terms and what not, this wouldnt ave happened. Still, it is very shitty for people to do this.. I could never just steal from someone like that.
