That's why when you sign up for an account, they state they will never ask for personal information in an email. I guess you failed to read that.
You have been OWNED!
So you're one of those people I make fun of on a daily basis who just hand out sensitive information at the request of an e-mail. Lovely. All of Ebay's official stuff shows up on your Ebay account in My Messages.
You`re going to have to call the bank/cc compmnay and get a whole new card/#.Same thing happened to me last year. One thing when ever ebay/paypal sends you an email just remember http://HTTPS://...andebay only send mail to your *MY Ebay*..I still get these fake emails pretty often,so i just send them soon as i get them to spoof@ebay.com
They almost got me...me being a computer programmer and all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
logged in with my eBay user & pass. then when I saw them asking for my cc info that's when I knew I f*cked up cause at the time I didn't have a CC & only used money orders. Thank God I didn't put any personal stuff in. Then, just to see, I logged back in to their fake login screen using my real user & a fake pass...when that let me in, that's how I knew it was phony.
