* When you run a credit card on one of those cheapo machines, all you need are the address digits of the billing address; I'd imagine internet sales go much the same way, and when I was processing internet sales for a company I worked for, I'd just use a machine like that. (Saved loot vs. an online cc service.)

(So yes, they could use it for online sales if they have your address digits)

I am moving on Saturday, so the address I gave them was my current address as the billing address, but the billing address was changed today, so I should be cool right? Without a correct billing address they cant do shit correct?

That's a good safety measure, yes. Then again, when you swipe a card, there's no check; They could potentially program a blank card w/ the number/info.

Still, if you haven't fessed up to Mom yet - I'd do it, before you lose internet-purchasing permissions.

You need to close any accounts associated with the debit card, and get a new one. If you use the same password for other things, might want to change them too.

alot of places won't ship to any address other than the billing.. but some will. cancel the card

But the card has been canceled, and they are going to issue my mom a new card and car number, blah blah.

But the bank told me I should watch out for things, since I put in my SS number. They said that they could possibly apply for credit cards in my name, and shit like that. Is this possible even though I am 16, wouldnt running my SS number show this?

My moms friend had around $10,000 in bills sent to her. Someone got ahold of her license number somehow and bought a shit load of gift cards, since they are untracable.
