So....... New Sub Stage

no, the other one you posted about, like 7 - 7.5 net...
Try the bigger one but will probably need to take up some volume...
so curious. How many sq inches per cube should i use for calculating my port. People have said between 12-16 sq inches per cube. I have a 12inch port i could test out it would put my at about 42 hz

@pro\-rabbit; @Buck; @mazdakid;

The enclosure is 8.9 net.
After subs it will be around 8.4
For Aero ports only, how many square inches of port should i use per cube? Ive seen from 12 inches per cube up to 16 inches per cube. So what would be ideal?

3 6"

ok so i just calculated my ports using 6's. With 3 aeros each being roughly 7.5"s(the actual measurement was 7.49 so i rounded it up), the tune comes out to be 50hz which is not bad because my truck peaks at 52 or 53hz. Now for daily driving, i can plug 1 of the ports and then with 2 being 7.5"s the tune for daily would be 41hz. im thinking that should be good enough for me to ride around daily for the music i listen to...

@pro\-rabbit; The only reason i keep metioning you is because you know alot about audio.

Would 2 8" aeros be enough for the 2 aq 15s in a 8.4 cubes after sub displacement....

If they are true aeros and not just PVC then yes that would work...

Ok so this is the finished part so far. I only have 2 6" aeros for now just because i didnt have another 6" right this moment. but can add one later. Right now i just have a bamf5500 @ 1ohm hooked. It sounds pretty goo for probly 500-600 rms each sub if that much. It moves more air then i thought and its doing a number on my roof and back hatch lol.. Also i know its not the prettiest box lol. And the top was modified for the 15s. the top is now triple plated however with caulk and wood screws in between each layer of birch. So tho it may not look the best the top plate is SOLID, along with the rest of box being double layer birch.

yea im thinking painting the box black
