it has nothing to do with what kind of car you drive or what your parents pay for, it has to do with how you are raised and if you know how to be humble about it or not.

lucky for me my dad built his own business from scratch and he bought me an 06 altima (in 06) and then let me trade it in in 08 for an 08 frontier. he gives me all this because he didnt have it when he was a kid and he wants me to have a better life than he did.

does that mean im a spoiled brat? hell no i worked one job for 8months then i held 2 jobs for 3months, had to quit one job and i started interning with an accountant and my internship ended not to long ago and i still have my job at GNC. i graduated high school with honors, i go to UCF on a full ride.

im sorry your dad/mom didnt make something of themselves and you suffer because of it. i hope you learn something instead of being a arrogant douche bag and give your kids nice things if you can afford it

i dont see the big deal that his dad is buyin him a car im only 19 and have paid for 5 cars non of witch i spent more then 1600 on and i gurente that when i hav a kid i will buy them a car not to spoil them but just so i dont have to worry about them breaking down and shit.....and yes it will be nice

My parents bought my forst 2 cars (well 1 was my sisters at one time. It was an 85 Chevette. When that died, They got me an 85 Cutlass Calais. (this was in 90 and 91) Neither cost a lot of coin, BUT it was completely on me to pay my insurance on MY OWN policy and buy all of my gas. If I had no money, I didnt drive. That simple. Kids now have too much handed to them in general IMO. I am going to be one of those parent you guys all hate too, because my 7 year old daughter has 10k in the bank, and my 2 yr old has 3k in the bank. We are not wealthy, and many months cut out our own pleasures to save for our childrens futures. But in the end, the money will be used as a down payment on a home or something big. eff buying them a new car that will completely depreciate within 7 years when I spent 18 saving for it! When they drive, they will d as I did.. Pay their insurance and gas and college is up in the air as well because the wife and I are still paying off her college. IMO, college should be the persons responsibility too because I will benefit in no way by paying for my childs college. Motivation is there if they are paying for it. Life has to start sometime!
