My dad and I built my truck, do you still cconsider that buying? Throughout the entire summer I worked for him at his business, and instead of getting pay I would get parts for my truck, still considered buying it for me?
I put the dash, ECU and wired it myself. Helped my dad put the engine ***** and transfer case in, along with all the interior. Even painted it together. Only thing he did alone was the rear end. I love my truck with all my heart. I get pissed when people even touch it or act like they are going to **** with it.Nope. You learned some valuable lessons. AND can repair your shit if it needs it. You have a cool dad, and prolly appreciate that truck more than anything since "you" built it.
Pics of your daughters now! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifI didnt buy my kids cars exactly, I went to the dealership in 03 and "bought" my daughter a 02 z24, but she had to make the payments. Then I got my son a 05' sebring with 14k miles, and he had to make the payments as well. If I had the scratch I would have just given them the cars. My kids got and held jobs as soon as they could and have since, so I think they would have deserved it. My youngest girl is 15 and wants a car, but she is lazy so no dice.

It's happened to me several times in my life. It sucks. Glad to see you still have great posts flip. hahahahaha //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif :laugh:I want to see what happens if OP becomes homeless. Could he survive on the street? Eat out of garbage cans? Offer to sweep parking lots and shit for enough money to buy some food to survive the next day?
These types of lessons need to be learned. Kids need to know what it's like to miss a meal.
I hope OP never really has to suffer...he probably won't. But I think too many things, like the next meal, are taken for granted.
