mags and the W7 do well in small spaces. you can probably do a sealed box since you have a hatch and still rock the car.

But ported would still sound great, and get even LOUDER

Not to mention, if he has the space, why not use it?

Showrides, most likely it was from hearing entirely too many accounts of people throwing much more than rated wattage at them with no adverse effects that had it in my mind that they would need more than 600w.

That coupled with the fact that I push my M6 12" with 600w (and it isn't an SPL driver at all) mentally comparing the two had me figuring it would want more than the OP was planning on giving it.

Sounds good. And that is what I thought happened. It would be very easy to make that mistake.

But both the 12's and the 15's are very efficient drivers, with the 15's being even more efficient than the 12's.
