First layer of the top is cut:

Then I got the first layer of the left side cut, glued, and screwed on:

Finally I got the second layer of the floor bottom cut, glued, and screwed on:

It's a 4:1 ratio. 5.2 sealed for the subs and a little over 20 cubes for the ported section. 250 square inches of port area 18 inches long.

Jack from DD Audio gave me Mike's number and said he was the man for a Z 4th order

Also, I met another basshead today. Was driving home behind this car:

Anyways, they pulled over at the lake and I did too. I got out and asked him what he had. Turns out he had an HDC3 18 on a SQ 2200

He gave me a demo and I showed him what I had done so far. Really nice guy. Then he took a video of my truck for his youtube channel, haha //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blush.gif.99bc659ee2012b7d826165e26fb5eebe.gif

He said he got a 146 @ 40hz the last time he metered, and is shooting for a 150 after he builds a new box and upgrades his alternator

Make your mind son! Nah, I'm just messing. I wanted to see what the Z's would do in a 4th. I know when I was doing some high powered Fi woofers (Team 18) that they couldn't be put in a 4th because it would blow the surrounds out. Now I would think the Z uses better materials but it has a ridiculous motor on it, so I was really curious if it'd survive.

Just get the equipment and then start the build so u stop redoing stuff all the time. Slow down alittle and it will go a lot smoother

The deal isn't going to work out, because the motors won't be identical

I am going to redo the front and top of the box though.

It would be loudest for the passenger with the port on the driver's side, right?

Driver port = passenger, center port = both etc..
