a 12 inch kicker cvr in a small ported box. kenwood kac 7205 bridged so it gives off 500 watts rms. I just think it should be louder. You cant even hear it from outside the car. Also if i dont turn the bass all the way up from my stock radio options you woudnt even know i had a sub. Am i expecting to much out of one 12 or is something not hooked up right? btw im using a LOC would a new HU make it louder?

Sounds like a cheap LOC or it is not installed or setup up correctly

umm the brand is called PAC. Went to a car audio shop and asked if they had LOC's. The dude went and got it from the back of store it was like 20 bucks

Ok, well 1 major problem

Kickers=BIG BOX not small, they are loud subs and you dont get loud from a small box

Maximum Sealed Box Volume 4.6 cubic feet

Minimum Ported Box Volume 1.75 cubic feet

Maximum Ported Box Volume 2.25 cubic feet

make sure its wired correctly... my friend had someone install his SSA DCON and accidentaly wired it to 8ohms... i rewired it down to 2... made a rediculous difference
