should this be louder.

Yes the sub is wired correctly. I made another thread on how to bridge my amp and sub. I took sub out of box and its wired at 4 ohms. Other users confirmed that the sub is wired correctly to the amp. Another thing i had it running at 250 watts rms just using one channle. When i bridged it and ran it at 500 watts rms there wasnt much of a difference AT ALL. Shoudnt it be way louder since im doubling wattage?

think im going to throw this LOC in the trash anyways and just **** it up and buy a new HU and 150 dollars worth of install gear ( 08 ford focus sedans are VERY hard to install aftermarket HU in). A user on the website someone posted a link too even said the sub wont hit hard or sound right with that LOC.

is the sub moving or not moving alot, if its not moving alot then the box is out of the question

its possible that LOC is just not sending a good signel or see if it has some dials on it. Mine did and i did not notice they were low from the start

SCOSH makes a kit for 08-11 focus after market, looks dead on like what you have now

Some LOC's have gain adjustments on them. And sometimes they can be very sensitive.....

Take a look and see if yours has these gain adjustments. If so, try adjusting them.

And I seen where someone said above that you can't get loud with a small box......well that is not true....

Use google and locate a picture of the LOC you used. I provided a link for you see if that was it..but as it would seem you ignored my assistance in this thread..............I would like to say that rarely happens but it seems the best information is always overlooked on this forum.

I have never seen any speaker "slam loud and hard" ever unless someone threw it as something....

Now I have heard them get rather loud in small boxes. If you have not, then you need to look around a little more.....

Story of my life....lol

I replyed to your post with the link idk why but it said a mod must approve it first

If that is not it could you find a picture of the unit? Most PAC LOC's have a gain control on them and if you can find the unit we could tell you were it is on the unit and if needs to be adjusted. My guess is that it is still turned down and needs to be adjusted slightly(do not just max it out).
