Depending on what source you are tapping into, your amp may not being full signal. By that I mean the stock radio has crossover points.
I have a idea. Why dont you look at ityes i have set the gains on the amp. not the LOC i dont know if it even has em
Have you used google to find the unit you purchased? It is hard for us to help if you won't help us. Perhaps contacting your friend(the installer) or a shop is in your best interest and is highly recommended.yes i have set the gains on the amp. not the LOC i dont know if it even has em

this sounds more and more like it was "hacked together" please take your car to a reputable shop or a reputable forum member in the area and do not let your "friend" install in your car any longer.yes i have to turn on the amp by hitting this little switch located under on the floor of my back seat. may have something to do with it. has your friend installed any other systems before?idk why he put it there. Im gona drop it off at my local car stereo store and have em look at this week. Your right this **** wasnt done right. Shoulda known when a friend wants to install your stuff for free lol.
There is no problem in having a friend install gear for free....dang im mad as **** now at that kid... lol my fault to tho shoudnt off let him do it i hardly knew him.
Well he says he has and seemed like he knew what he was doing but i guess he didnt. He even turned the bass boost on the amp all the way up. I knew that was wrong when i saw him do it. I only knew him like 3 months prior to the install. lol just didnt wana pay a lot of money to have it installed. So do you guys think i should just drop it off at my car audio store and have em tell me whats wrong with it?has your friend installed any other systems before?
