Should I get a bigger amp for my BTL?

I was looking for some opinions. Right now I have a 15" BTL off of a Hifonics BXi2006D @ 1 ohm. Supposed to be 2kw.

you probably arent even getting 1800 out of that amp

You definately want more than 2Krms for that sub. If you have any options at all I'd recommend at least 3K to show its potential.

I would try a different box design if you are not happy. Then if it is not enough see about more power.
