should I add the weight to my z06?

That's what I'm having trouble deciding also. I have a 5.7 rumble bee, with a Comp 260 cam, ported heads, cutouts, superchips, intake, electric fan, 4.56 Gears, and a few other goodies. The truck is really quick, but have been getting in allot of trouble with racing and I'm trying to decide to sell all the racing stuff, add a system, and ride slow, or make it quicker.

i dunno why you guys keep posting the orginal poster stated he is just going to keep his stock radio and has yet to respond to any more audio posts.. obviously it's all about the car now.

no i am thinking of a fiberglassed 10 that will keep weight way down.

I just drove the car to dinner and i think a sub would be nice. and hell im 170lbs so im probally 40lbs lighter than the average american male anyway

get your car on a scale and check the weight distribution that should tell you the right place to put it. some ballast might be good in the right place. especially if you can keep the weight low.

well I should put it in the passenger side than.

I dont wanna crack the motor open on this car. so im gonna add a set of LT headers and do a little throtle body and intake manifold work to squeeze some more power out of her.

i have had very fast cars before but there is something to be said about having your warrenty still in tact

I think 1 10" and a decent front stage should rock. and a avic-Z1

Good job. Atleast you thought of something haha. I still havn't decided. Maby you could benifit from that weight if you could work it towards the back for more traction. hehe Tight car bro. I would deff. throw some l.t. headers, throttle body, and some kind of tune on that car. Might have a little bit of trouble with traction though. Have you ran it in the 1/4 yet? I ran my 5.7 to a 12.3 on bottle and a 13.1 with no bottle. May seem slow, when you could have your car into the 11's, but Im pushing a 5,000 lb truck. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i think the LS7 is about perfect as it is. Meka was telling me about a guy in his hometown that is turbocharging his z06. the very thought makes me sick to my stomach.

in the mean time me and dev are saving up for our own Zonda F's

Man i know a 1000000 horsepower cobra that would smoke dat thang!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
wow.....tookyou THAT long to post that........thanks for wasting everyone's time:rolleyes:

thats not quite how it works dumbshit. and the viper is just a gimmick, like you.

in a straight line they might... but thats where it ends. and dont even get me started on the newest shelby's... worthless.
haha look at who it is the snitch who couldnt take me cursing at him in a pm..and yes it is how u work shithead...and as for the z06 u could also go weight reduction on the car

I would be nervous as heck getting a system put in that car. Any scratch i would probably flip out but it's probably worth it as stock sytem sucks. Everything would have to be hidden well, no neon on amps etc.

I like zo6 but prefer converts myself. Nothing like watching the stars at night in a drop top //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

I've never really liked convertibles. And as far as sport cars go i think they're pointless. I know the positives as i've own one and had the privilege of driving some very nice converts. But as far as performance cars, i could never justify one. Body flex, and extra weight break my heart.
