Setting up a CDA-9887 with Imprint w/o subs

I am running the following in my 07 Altima sedan.

Polk MOMO MMC6500 components in the front doors

Polk MOMO MMC690 6 x 9 3 ways in the rear deck

All four speakers are powered by a Kicker ZX650.4 (120 x 4) amp

All four speakers are running passive via the MOMO crossovers

I am currently not running any subs

How would I set up the head unit for this system?

I believe that you have to set it up active and then install the imprint software and then you should be able to do it... the software should walk you through the steps.

do I use, 2 way, or 3 way on the dip-switch on the head unit?

Well I imagine you want to run active right? In that case go 3 way and then have a seperate amp channel for each driver!

I need to keep my rear 6x9's for my kids. I'm only using a 120w x 4 channel amp, one channel per speaker in the rear, and one channel per component set in the front. No plans on losing the MOMO crossovers and amping each speaker (yet). So I believe from what I've read, that I'll need to leave the switch on the H/U set to 2 way so I can retain the fader function?

I believe this is correct. I believe the 2way mode on the HU will allow you to retain the "sub" pre-out on the back, and put the other 2 sets of RCA outs into active tuning, where as 3 way would put all 3 sets into active tuning removing the subwoofer controls.

I am guessing you are currently running RCA cables from the Front and Rear outs on the back of the deck to your amp?

I haven't installed the CDA-9887 yet, I am currently running all of my equipment off of the factory head unit via a LOC w/RCA cables. I'm trying to get everything figured out before I pull the factory head unit and install the Alpine, but yes, I will be running RCA cables from the Alpine to the amp. As far as subs go, I just ordered a small powered sub (don't need earth-shaking bass) and as soon as it comes in, I'm going to mount it under the passenger seat. I'll also be running RCA cables to that also.
