setting gain with dmm

Hello everyone, new to the board, I recognize Xluben.

Do you have the engine running? The voltage from the formula is with the motor running.

HAHA i know what your problem is, cause I have that amp, I bet you testing wired series. test it using the far outter speaker outputs, that would put them to parallel and be 1ohms. read the manual next time.It goes + - + -

(use this +) not this - not this + (use this -)

Either that or your remote knob is at minium when you should just leave it at max, unless you don't have a sub control on you headunit then you should use the remote as a control.

i think i already recommended this and he tried it, but it should still output the same voltage, bridged or not.

I am curious to know if the engine is running or not. If so, then from what I have read it would have to come back to improper deck settings, poor wiring, or a bad amp.

i'm pretty glad i didn't go with the CVR's. it made me realize i like ported boxes better, and a new box and amp really got the assassin's pounding.

my arsenals should be even louder, while keeping good SQ.

I finally got my CVR's to really come alive. It was my deck, I just didn't have my settings right. SOB's get pretty **** loud now. Great SPL, decent SQ. For the price gotta be happy.

CVR's can get loud, but I don't think they sound that great.
