Questions In Bold

Ok I had my speakers and speaker amp installed by a shop a few months ago, well because there is no way I am running speaker/power wire through my car. Woulda taken weeks, even they said it was the hardest car they have worked on.

Anyways, my speakers quite frankly sound like SHIT and I don't think the shop set them correctly. I have read the Speaker Amp Setting Tutorital and it's good and all,

But which is a better way to set my speakers (calculation or by ear)?

I am running a bridged setup (200 x 2) on my amp, where should the wires be?

Each Voicecoil wired across the bottom (4 outputs)? Here is picture of the amp:

So my real question is, which is the better way to set the amp? I am guessing by ear, but I want other input.

Also, where should I set the speakers max unclipped volume at? Right now I have both the speaker amp and sub amp set at max unclipped volume @ 48/61 on my Pioneer HU. Should I set it lower, higher?

Sorry for all the questions, but I might as well as people that know.

by ear is my preference too, tried calculation, didnt like it much.

for bridged, wires for speaker 1 should be top left = negative, top right = positive, wires for is speaker 2 bottom right = pos, bottom left = neg.

you should be fine at 48.
