sealed or ported

Ported = Less power required to slam, more space taken up, less SQ

Sealed = The oppostie of the ported. I would only go sealed if I needed trunk space.

In a good sealed box vs good ported box, the SQ with the sealed will be noticeably better, or else they wouldn't be so popular. you have to decide whether you value SPL over SQL and go from there. If you want SQ then yeah, you might want to look for a different sub
