RF T1001BD setting help...?

I am running 2 12" Premier 2000SPL wired at 2ohm each so its a 1ohm load on the amp. The 1001BD is stable at 1ohm and will put out about 1300 at that well my question is what should I have the LPF setting at? I have each 12 in a sealed box and with the gain at about a tad under half at half the subs max out. Also if I raise the low pass up like at about 80-85 they tend to max out like I could have the gain at about half and lower my low pass and they wont max out. What do you think I should have my lpf at? 70? and then raise the gain until the subs are maxing out and then back off? I dont understand each Premier can handle 750rms but 1300 to both of them with the gain under half is maxing them out? Are these 04 RF Power amps that good? Thanks

must be in your sub set up i got that amp and the power t1s 2 12ich 600rms and subs don't do that /must be your box/what kind of sub box setup you got?

Remember, mechanical power handling is box dependent. That 750w rating is likely only a thermal rating. How much power it takes to "max them out" will vary box size to box size.

Set your lowpass filter to where the subs blend well with your front stage and where the subs perform best. Follow the gain setting tutorial and properly set your gain, then set your lowpass filter. I personally am a fan of having a lower xover point (70hz or less), but not everyone has a front stage that will allow it. But, just set the lowpass to where the subs sound best.

Alright thanks a lot for the advice on the low pass setting but what do you mean I have a leak? I think I have about 2.0 air space in each box but the subs pretty big so thats why I bought these boxs because my last 12 box wasnt large enough inside for it to fit. Each SPL is in just a single sealed box. A few of the sub screws go into the wood striped like the subs man removed and tightened to many times maybee move the sub and drill into the wood again? If my box is so big at 2.0 do you think I should have the sub sonic filter on? Thanks

What about the sub sonic filter? Its a sealed box but at 2.0 its a large sealed box should I have it on or not? Also I really cant tell a difference in 70 or 80 in the LPF, what you suggest on my face it has a 80hz built in should I just match it up with that and keep it at 80? Thanks!!

The leak is coming from the screw holes that were stripped.

You won't really need the subsonic....you can set it if you would like though. Somewhere around 20hz. For the LPF, if you can't tell a difference, I personally would set it to the lower number (70hz).
