It came with a clear plastic round shim. I used it to align the woofers. I ran into a problem with the spider assembly. The cone set has dual spider, the one closest to the cone had a plastic ring wirh pre-drilled holes. They did not line up with the basket holes. I tried rotating them but the none of the holes lined up together, so I had to go with the tinsel alignment and the surround alignment and not the spider alignment. I just used the glue alone for those. Now I am sure that is probly the source of the rattle, but when I attempt to recone this again, I am going to just drill additional holes in the spider ring and try to test before completing the assembly. Tell me about the shim please. I am prepared to order a new set or cones just as a backup. so if this is seccessful or a failure I have another set. I have pics of the de-construction only. I will try to get some more and maybe vids of the rattle.
