RAMROD's Build thread - Dodge Charger

Still waiting on a few parts to show up. So I can move on to the next stage of the install. My rear seats, side panels and trunk floor as been out for a while now. Been driving around like this... Can't wait to have my back seat back.

OK my 25ft of EXCELENE 2/0 came in. Looks nice, but for 2/0 its more like 1/0. I fit a 1/0 Ring Terminal on it. It's also not has flexible as my TryStar Cable. I'll have a couple of Pictures up soon.

thats because car audio 1/0 is oversized. welding cable is true to spec thats why we say get 2/0 so it equals 1/0 car audio cable. good stuff nonetheless

This I already knew...

Has you see in the Pictures the Exelene 2/0 is the same size as the TriStar's 1/0 cable.

Red - Excelene Welding 2/0 from E-Bay

Black/White - TriStar Welding 1/0

Blue - NVX 1/0

Black - Mechman 1/0

White - Connerwire Power Wire 2/0 (Freaking Nice, but way expensive @ $30 per ft)

OK had a little time today to redo my grounds. Got rid of the Screw Down terminals in favor for Clamped ones. Used a 16 ton Clamp that made short work of it.

Added a ground to the Drivers side of the engine block. You can see the tiny Factory one just below the new one.

Test fitted the new Toolmaker Terminals. Perfect fit.

And re-did my Sub wiring. Much better. No one is going to see it anyways, but this much better.

Ok I'm tried on waiting on a couple of parts to come in to finish this... Going to just buy some local things to finish. Taking way way to long.

Ok.. One of my final parts came in and I can't be more happy with them. My Odyssey Battery Terminals from ToolMaker... They look sweet.. I was running into issues with space. Unless I rebuilt my battery box and laid my battery on it's side. But with these I shouldn't have any issues. They are compact and low profile.
