RAAMmat honest opinions and experiences.

The prices change with the amount you buy, 62.5 sq. feet may be enough for some installs, buying that amount of SS is more expensive per square foot than buying 80 square feet of SS.
True.

So in that case, step it up to Damplifier Pro. The performacen value then goes down to about 30% compared to the cost of Raammat.

30% Damplifier Pro = 100% Raammat

Are you starting to get my point now?

Not on video, but I have done it.I have done a number of tests on our competitors product with the symbols. It is a very easy way to see imediate differences.

That in my opinion, making a video, would help sell more product than what you are doing here because all people will do is argue with you when they get good results with RAAMat.

I predict that there will be a new video on the website. im sure you wont mention the competitors names though on site, just brand x, brand x 1 etc
What point would that have if you did not mention the competitors names, thats the whole point.

I don't know why but it just puts me off seeing a company try to defend every single comment about a competitors product when comparing to your own. I've never seen anything like that before on any forum I've been on. I like Second Skin a lot, I think it is the best overall performing sound dampening material, and it's high quality as I have used it. It just seems unnecessary to do what you're doing.
UNderstood.

An it puts me off when peopl constantly provide wrong inforamtion to the forum and present it as the all mighty gospel. Most of the people here are just regurgitating what they have heard from other people.

When you know how and why this stuff works it becomes much more easy to make an informed decision.

Search through my posts for the last 5 years or so and you will see that I have a history of promoting Raammat as wellas my other competitors products.

Lately thought it has gotten rediculous how much BS is getting tossed around as fact.

If I were to come on this forum and tell everyone that Zapco is a great amp but pyle is better because it is cheaper and with the money I have to spend I could buy 5 Pyle amps for the cost of 1 zapco amp, I would be cast out as an idiot./ Yet every day this same thing happens in regards to the sound deadening industry and thouse of us that know the difference catch hell for trying to teach the younger crowd how it really works. Gets old after a while.

Because that would be a form of bashing imo.

check out the whole thing i believe rudy did on the sound deadener. i believe it was called sound deadener showdown? he has totally unbiased opinions on stuff

He's the one that was bashing RAAMat and he's the one on this forum with a comment to just about everyone that says something good about RAAMat. Do you see Focal come on here and debate what people say about Rainbow speakers?
Again. I have not bashed raammat.

I am bashing the people the continually promote an agenda of sound deadening ignorance as fact.

Never before have a bashed Raammat, and nor do I plan on it.

How could a test be considered bashing? I don't buy that all and I don't think anyone else does either.

Nope.

For good reason, because a forum really does not matter. He's not bashing RAAMat, he is comparing A vs. B...giving you every single answer to every single question that you are asking...

Yet you continue to try to argue with him?

By him answering the questions, he's bashing?

Have you ever read up on modal frequency plots of an acoustically excited panel? Ant is very right in you can put a certain amount of material at a few key places that is thicker and made for that application better and yield better results than covering the entire plate...

I've done it for Boeing, it was actually very cool stuff //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif...adding 10% mass of a given panel in 6 key places and actually drop resonance by 6-8dBa across the board.

im not getting into this any further. ant has explained everything multiple times.

at no time did i feel like he was bashing any other products, simply explaining the differences and how it takes less material of one brand to accomplish the same thing another will do with more product, breaking even and saving time installing less product.

Posting a pic underneath a quote about raamat that says something like fuknstupid or whatever it said is bashing.

If you can't put up, you know what to do. You praise SS so much but you don't even want to put it up to a test naming the competitors //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Here is the thing that you don't get.

I am not here trying to sell product.

I do just fine without having to convince a bunch of people that my product is good, better or best.

Look around. Read the reviews. There is no denying what people think about Second Skin. They love it!

I am here to support the industry and to answer questions and get people to think about things differently.

There are plenty of other products you can go with out there besides Second Skin and besides Raammat.

Both are good, and both have their merits.

I would take Raammat over many of the other knockoff products out there any day. It beats the hell out of all the other roofing tape products that many people on here defend as well.

Again, go through all of my posts in this thread. Not once will you see me critisize Raammat. What I am critisizing is the metality that some member continue to promote that Second Skin is expensive. That Dynamat Extreme is Expensive, and that somehow cheaper products defy the laws of physics and commernce and manage to our perform everything else.

It is not raammat that I am critisizing. It is the perpetual ignorance the seems to haunt this forum with never ending abundance.
