DD audio opinions

What do you guys think of DD audio for mids and highs? I think I’d like to just put 8” woofers in the doors a tweet in each door and a tweet in each A pillar. Not worried too much about rear fill as the 8s will only be for a little more bump.
This is going on my 2019 charger hellcat with the 2 subs pushing 4-5k rms.

Their subs are legit, so I assume their whole line-up is as well. What 8s are you using that require 4kW+?

What i meant was I'm going to be running 2 15s at 4-5 and was thinking about just doing 8" mids and tweets just in the doors hoping that would be enough for a little extra bump and still have some sq in front deck. The build is for my mom who passed away. Doing the car in all black with a bright pink breast cancer decal on the car. When I was younger she always loved hearing me come down the road. No matter how loud the thump was. She also liked fast cars.

I'd plan on running 3-4" midrange as well (for a 3 way setup) or dropping down to a 6.5" mid with a tweet.

I have no problem dropping down to 6.5"s. Just want to feel the beats is all.

How about if it is a pro audio mid, like the Timpano , DS18, or PRVs?

Then you'd need to do something to reinforce the midbass region since pro audio drivers won't handle much power playing lower. You'd have the frequency gap between the subs and mids instead of the mids and tweets. Basically just moving the gap.

You can get the unity drivers from from cdt for about $100 a pair and they work as mid in a 3 way. So it's not that pricey to go that route. Especially if you do something like a silverflute 8" which sound really good and are budget friendly.

the es still has to be better than the hd....
guys on here never once mentioned the es series when I was looking.
Dox was trying to sell me some higher end cdt's though behind the scene but I had no idea what I was looking at...
the 2 way kit is $450 & my kit was $250, $300 now...
But can you honestly say they will probably perform as good as the hertz MP, or Alpine Type R, Focal Flax., infinity kappa, etc?
I truly dont know...
Ide like to drink the koolaid to think you get a phenomenal speaker at a fraction of the cost due to buying direct,
If thats the case, maybe NVX is just as good, no idea...
