And, I'm not going to be the guy who tells Ant how I feel about his actions on forums and then back pedal by saying "oh but don't get me wrong, I am still looking into buying your product" for fear of Ant or his customers getting mad. I personally don't give a ****...

Fact of the matter is this: I might not be overly active on THIS particular forum, but I read all the forums a lot. God forbid someone on this forum and especially DIYMA(Ant's own forum btw...) say anything about Raammat or any other sound dampening companies. I am going to sound like a broken record here... but seriously, if your product is superior, it will keep selling. Stop advertising in every thread.

This one in particular was made because the guy wanted opinions on people who use BXT. You came in, and of course you don't use that product, you have developed your own. So why, other than bragging about your own shit, would you even bother taking the time to post? You say it is just to clear things up that people don't understand, but at the end of all your "educational" replies, it comes out to be "because of this scientific reason that I know all about and you know nothing about, SS is better than Raammat." EVERY TIME!

Now I'm not going to be like the other people who pointed it out and come back talking about how I still want to try your product, because the way the company presents itself effects my purchase just as much as price and product performance. The way you act in threads that are about competitors products has turned me 100% away from wanting your product in my vehicles.

I completely agree with your statement. I think it's funny how Ant says that thinking the other product is better in the cost department is "ignorance" but no real test has been done that we the customers can verify. The more I think about this kind of advertising it sickens me, its no different than dirt slinging politicians. He's like a vulture destroying any scrap of compliments given to RAAMat or other competitors, and you're right what the hell is he doing in a RAAMat thread? The OP didn't ask for SS specs did he?

im actually glad that ANT has said everything he has because after the first couple posts i continued to think what i thought which is the same as dan's however it FINALLY started to sink in about ANT's idea, i mean hell ive talked to jacob(sundown) about it he tried explainin it, ive talked to nick(ndmstang) about it and hes tried to do the same along with many others but now i finally get it, and jacob, nick and the rest sorry i didnt "listen" better i finally get it

I contacted Rick at Raamaudio and still haven't heard from him. I want to buy a 62.5 roll of raammatt bxt and have it ship over here in canada. Anyone could help me?

Ricks cool and the product works. I did the floor in my Tahoe in just over 1 layer. (built up flat areas a little). The road noise is diminished. The front doors are loaded up quite good only have to deaden the panel. Its all been good going on 2 years now.

I'd like to play with some liquid around the wheel wells though. If I could get past all the people hanging from ANTs nuts I could probably get a deal on some.

I'd stick with it til you hear from him. I had no issues on contact so he must have a reason. It wouldn't surprise me if he tells you that reason too.
