Sound Deadeing

Sorry for making yet another thread about sound deadening. But I just cant decide what I need for my setup.

2009 Mazda 3i

I have installed a lot of stereos before. But they were nothing really. I want this car, being its brand new, to be a VERY good SQ setup. I think I'm going to be spending the most money on this part alone. This is my first time doing a full deaden. I was going to be using a mix of both liquids, mats and foams. I'm going to do the outside of the wheel wells fist. Going to be putting my new suspension on soon, so I was going to do it at the same time with the wheel wells empty.

Heres my questions. I've read maybe 50 some threads between all the car audio forums on deadening to get the info I have. I know there is really no "best" out there being that people look for different things out of what they want. I'm looking for the most effect for my buck. theres a lot of different liquid deadeners I've found. What would be "best" for my needs? I will also be using the same stuff on top of mat on the doors and floor. Im not rich by any means. I just want to hear my music and not the road anymore. This car has to much of that.

and I know, you get what you pay for. This car is for me. Not going into any competitions or anything. Shows yes, but not for sounds unless I find something insanely good for the money.

ya well. I have used it in the past. I'm going to use the 3 rolls I got left over of that stuff. But only over top of some good stuff first. Its not bad for the price, but I can do much better.

Werd if you got the money and want the best, Second Skin is your best bet. But if you on a low budget, and want a cheaper alternative Edead is your second best bet.

And how dare anyone mention that one good example does not dismiss many examples of failures. eD hs always had a big issue with consistancy in their mat, their wire, etc. But if one guy has a good experience, stop the press, it must be good enough to recommend to everyone.

ss damplifier is good..i used it and its very easy to apply...also you will notice a difference from w/o deadener and with it
