Questions about selling on Ebay with paypal... Just sold my first ebay item

Well I didnt sell it "yet" But I have 2 bids so far on it, SO i guess that technically means its sold unless the buyer hoses me ( worries me cuz he has zero feedback.. ) ButHow does it all work then? My paypal is linked to my ebay, so do i just wait until he puts the $$ into my paypal, or can he use a credit card to put the $ in there as well?

he'll use paypal, paypal is linked to his bank account and/or his credit card.

Youll see the transaction in paypal and youll have all of his info

Yep, money comes into your paypal account you get a confirmation, then you ship. If you want to be safe ship via a method that requires the buyer's signature on delivery or he can say it never showed up and you're SOL.

gotcha, thanks guys.. Itll make more sense once it all goes through, and I see how it all works, but just wanted to get an idea.. Just whereever i ship from make sure its a signature package tho?

yes signature or you are hosed if he lies and says he never got it the burden of proof is on you to make sure it is delivered. even delivery confirmation w/o a sig is fine just insure it

Don't sell to anyone with 0 feedback. I always say you must have at least 10+ feeback to bid.

well if the money is in my paypal it wouldnt matter would it?? I would think the seller has more control to hose someone than the buyer, no?

Honestly, I would just cancel the 0 feedback buyers bids. But thats just me. Ive had my share with non paying bidders. If your going to leave it, than just wait until you get the payment, than ship to the confirmed address thats in Paypal. And use delivery confirmation and/or signature confirmation, when you ship. I usually give it a week to receive a payment, before I take action.

but if he deposits the $$ I send it ( either insured or with signature ) im not liable then right?
