questions about 18's

Neither. 6 12s. or 24 8s lol
but id go with no more than 2 18s bc you dont have the proper volume to do a correct box, the least any 18 wants is 5cubes each + port, you have like 15 cubes available, and that is without volume loss via material, sub disp, and port displacement, hence me suggesting 6 12s, more cone area than 2 18s
and if you really want loud op, then go with 6 12s instead

Four 15's will fit easily. 48" wide x 38" deep x 20" tall(including double baffle). Get some mid-level 15's like SSD's, IXL's, or something like that and you'll be surprised how loud it can get off of 3-4kw.

yep.

you dont need 18's to be loud lol

the AQ's in general sound like garbarge SQ wise...and you must have lots of monies to afford all this?
This is amazingly far far from the truth and only applies to those who do not know how to build/design an enclosure the right way. Come to heatwave and check out the AQ scion then you can talk.

im just saying from experience from my friends old AQ
I'm saying they are wrong. I know for a fact what they can do day in and day out. The older subs were actually more peaky the new the new line that is currently out.

There will be huge changes in the AQ line with in the next year as well.

I would venture to say I have the most "hands on" dealings with this company out of anyone on this forum. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
