questions about 18's

okay so im going to be ordering a hifonics brz1700w amp to use on my 2 12in mtx squares now in about 3 months im gonna order 2 18in audioque's alumnim coils can I run both of them on the brz1700w amp temporly or will that be bad for brake in because each sub is 2500rms. and what type of electrical upgrades will i need for the 1700w brutes i have big 3,and a big deka battrie in the back

big 3 and the deka will be plenty for the hifonics. underpowering the 18's wont be bad but they obviously wont be performing well enough if your running them off half their rms.

okay thanks, so its not bad that im braking in new subs with the 1700 brutes....eventally im gonna get 2 more audioque 18's and get a kickerwarhorse this amp is just for now

that warhorse would be way overkill. pair of AQ2200's would work nice. however, you would need to look into getting a HO alternator as well.

you could do a 3500d.1 on each if you set the amp right....

so you say use the copper coils.....i planed on doing 4 18's alumuim coils on a kicker warhorse........some people are telling me the alumuim coils sound like garbage? or is just not as good as the copper coil when it comes to sound quailty i cant imgen it being that bad

the AQ's in general sound like garbarge SQ wise...and you must have lots of monies to afford all this?
