The answer to that question depends on your skills with a spray can

you can make anything look decent with a rattle can but getting it to stick good is the real test

I tried with a rattle can, ended up scrapin the paint somehow i forget, now I just cleaned off another basket i had and sprayed it with real paint ftw several coats of clear
