questions about 18's

so many choices. some are sundown, Fi, DC, DD...

there are much better sounding subs. the AQs arent much good for anything other than SPL. if you want a little better sounding sub, Id go with Fi or DC

Have you actually heard these subs, or are you just going on what you've read? I own two hdc3 10's and they sound better to my ear than the iDMAX12v.3 I had. The aq's were in 3cf@35hz and the iDMAX was in 2cf@32hz just to let you know.

The HDC's sound decent in the right box. Gotta go big to get good low-end.

I actually have. Are yours the newer or the older versions? i wasnt impressed with the new ones

Yes incriminator audio does make excellent products. Any of the subs listed in this thread will be a good choice

Not sure. I'm assuming the old ones; they were purchased about a year ago.

I think im going to stick with the audioque's because I was looking at the fi btl's full loaded and there 550$ when i can get the audioque's for 340$ probley like 400$ shipped and the magnets are alittle smaller on the audioque's which is another reason because my box is kinda small for 4 18's because its behind my 2nd row so its probley only gonna be 20 cubic ft

look into ssa subs also. theres alot of other beasts out there that can over due AQ. if you want sexy sounding subs then look at tc sounds(xmax ftw)

well i just know me and few others would rather spend that money on a different sub(s). but if you like em then go for it. no ones stoppin you

I though about it some more im going to get the AQ's and worst i dont like them i will sell them and get diffrent subs..........or I can get kicker solo x 18's 2 of them for 1100$ which is a really good price

....stick with the AQ's

will do im watching some video's on youtube they look like pretty solid subs that can take a beating of 2500-3000rms beating no problem

just hope you dont get a bad batch...factory lines can make errors
