packing a sub

Hello, i would like to packege my Inhuman 15 for shipping so i can get shipping quotes.

how shall i go about packing it safely?

I want to maximize the safety of the sub, while still keeping the packing weight and size to a minimum.

how much does it weigh? RE ships the XXX and MT in crates that add about 5lbs or so

i shipped a 25 lbs moofer safely with tightly packed newspaper in a cardboard box. anything heavier than that, u might need a reinforced cardboard box or crate. i wouldnt trust peanuts unless u packed em really really tightly.

if you can find the thread, the moron packed like, 4 RE8's in a large box with minimal amount of newspaper. And then Dave was offered them a free recone and w/e replacements. It was utter bullshit too.

my SX didnt have a crate like the XXX, but it did have a little board at the bottom to keep it from falling out, but the XXX was in a crate with sides and all
