Folks, I get this setup installed in my Tahoe on Saturday. What are your opinions on the potential SQ of this system:

Pioneer 9400MP HU driving

>>>>Infinity Kappa Components Front

>>>>Infinity Kappa Triaxial Rear

Infinity BASSLINK 10" sub/amp box

My goal is extremely clean sound. I don't need volume.

yea install is very important but i will have to admit it would be pretty hard to make an infinity sound like ****. but i think it should sound pretty clean

I'd say it very easy to make them sound like sh*t. I'll agree it is nice equipment

I've seen so many people emphasise the importance of installation, I'm planning on installing some Infinity 572.3CF's (5x7's) in the front and MB Quart or Infinity 6"'s in the rear (haven't decided yet), but i'm scared i'll screw the install up. Are there any basic guidlines to follow? Or is there somewhere i can get some clear instructions, or do's and dont's? Im very technicaly minded, I've just never really played with car audio before, so i think i can learn pretty fast......

Giving subs more power really wakes them up. The MRP-500 is pretty low power. You would really notice more authority in your bass.

I’m sure they will be a good budget setup. I think they will lack some midbass but door treatment is super important so definitely be sure to do...
