Alpine S2 component opinions

I am considering a set of the Alpine S2 component sets, either the 6.5" or the 8" for the doors of my 2006 Explorer. Has anybody heard these or have any opinions about them? No one close to me has a set setup for me to listen to so I'm kind of flying blind on these.

I’m sure they will be a good budget setup. I think they will lack some midbass but door treatment is super important so definitely be sure to do that. I think the tweeter is a silk dome which I prefer.
