Alpine MRX-M100 opinions?

I have an Alpine MRX-M100 mono amp. Are they any good? Worth installing?
It’s never seen power bnib so I am considering selling it.
Any idea what it’s worth on the various marketplaces in Canada.

Alpine has always made some really great products, especially theyre amplifiers. Built to last and very reliable. Be a great amplifier to install two 500-600RMS DVC2 ohm 10s or 12s or a single DVC4 Ohm 1k-1200 rms 10,12,or 15 inch sub all final Load @2 ohms. Id deff put it to work

I had the exact same amp on two mean JBL 12's @2ohms. It did not like 1 ohm. However, it beat the tar out of those 12's @ 2ohms for a long time.

So I have 2 type R 12s on an mrp 500.
It’s fine and I like how easy it is on my stock electrical. I doubt doubling the wattage will make that much of a difference. I wonder what it would be worth on the used market. Maybe I could sell/trade up to some better fronts.

Dude I went from an alpine m500 to a that same amp on two type r 10s and it was crazy how much better it sounds! It also has much better controls. I say keep it and sell your old amp for like $50 or something.

Anything Alpine with an X in the model is amazing.

Giving subs more power really wakes them up.
The MRP-500 is pretty low power. You would really notice more authority in your bass.
