The problem isn't where you put the speakers, at least not entirely. You're going to have the sound escaping out the vehicle if this is a soft top Jeep. This means you have to tackle it with more output while also not letting cancellation from multiple speakers defeat the purpose. Let's see what the shop has to say before we try to get this overly complicated.

So... Whole different *story now that I've talked to the guy in charge ... Told me my setup is good.. And to run my speakers off the 300/4 just like you said also and the 12 off the hd1200... keep the h.o enclosure they say they will build fiberglass kick pods in the corners down by me ebrake and same on passenger side for 5.25 components and then figure out where the tweeters sound good up near the dash somewhere.. Also says I can run the 8's with the 12 just got to be careful *of phase? Cancellation?! *The reason they don't usually mix subs Is because it takes more time to set up properly.. He says even when he's running the same size subs he groups them as tight as possible because if they are spread out the music actually hits your ears at different times... So apart from ye kick pods they say they can build me an amp rack that will not only house the two 8's but the amps that will mount right to the back of my HO enclosure.... Sound right? Should be getting an email with quote in the next cpl days when he draws up some ideas.. I'll keep you posted.*

Wow, this sounds like a totally different shop. It sounds like someone who has a good handle on what to do for you.
