I just installed a Sony GT250Mp head unit that powers all 4 car speakers. I also have 1 12" JL sub that is powered by a mono amp. Whenever I try to use the aux port on the deck only the sub plays?

Everything works fine when I use the radio. Any help is appreciated

Edit: This also happens when I play cds

Check the hu manual for settings. This is what I see in the manual you may need to look at.

Changing the sound settings:

Press the select button repeatedly

until “BAL,” “FAD” or “SUB” appears.

The item changes as follows:

LOW*

1 t MID*

1 t HI*

1 t

BAL (left-right) t FAD (front-rear) t

SUB (subwoofer volume)*

2 t AUX*

3

*1 When EQ3 is activated (page 10).

*2 When the audio output is set to “SUB-OUT”

(page 10).

“ATT” is displayed at the lowest setting, and can

be adjusted up to 21 steps.

*3 When AUX source is activated (page 11).Press the select button repeatedly

until “BAL,” “FAD” or “SUB” appears.

So what settings should I change?
