I just happened to see this. It sounds like a connection issue on the driver. I apologize for that. There will be a brand new Assassin 8 like yours boxed up for you and shipping out tomorrow. I keep spares around long after we run out of stock in case we have a sitaution like this. sub would stop playing for a few minutes then come back on. then on the way to work acouple days ago it wouldnt play. on the way back home from work the same day it did play. the next day it stopped , for the whole day. the amp is fine , same connections ive had. its not running hot. no protect light on. took the dmm , amp is making power. took sub out the box and it looked fine. probed the terminals and tinsel leads and got nothing...?

if it continues to happen, ill contact AA.

ok well it did it again today on the way back from work.

it just stopped playing in the middle of a song. i took out the dmm when i got home. amp is seeing 12.13vdc with the car off and making power through the speaker terminals.

took teh sub out , probed both the terminals and tinsle leads.

with the dmm set at 200ohm i got 0 reading from both the leads and speaker terms. so i decided to run through the setting on the dmm.

dmm set at 2000ohm got the same 0 reading.

dmm set at 20k i got 11.9 at the tinsels and 12.00-12.10 at the speaker terms.

above that, i didnt measure.

oh i know , ive spoke to him over the phone , great guy. im just sick as a dog and dont feel like repeating myself when i break into a coughing fury lol. ill drop him an e-mail.
