a pair of the midline subs on a 1200d would be a good match for daily driving - should sound great and get loud while doing it

There is one sole owner/founder and he wants to keep it anonymous for the time being.

Ordering will be taking place on a website, there will be NO PHONES. Everything will be easily laid out on the website so that you have to agree to the terms and conditions. You are getting a custom built woofer exactly how you want it, each and every order is made to order. Which is why there will be a 5-7 day build time much like DD does. Phones are inefficient and waste time. You'll beable to pick exactly what you want, Size, Series of woofer, Quantity, Coil configuration, Coil Type (copper round wire or aluminum flat wound - which of course price will vary) there may be some spider options on a few of the woofers due to the different weights of the coil that you choose to use. Not going to have a phone until it is absolutley impossible to function without one. We think that this method is going to work good...basically click some buttons and create your own sub tailored to your particular application.

Either Shawn or I will be posting pictures of drivers as time passes. Along with t/s parameters on all of them. Along with pricing as soon as the designs are finalized and ready to roll!

The owner contacted us and asked us to take care of the PR and internet stuff for him.

As of right now there is no intentions on having a dealer network, that just creates problems with pricing stuff. Direct as of right now is going to be the only way.

The steel parts are sandblasted and coated with a zinc coating. This is best for durability, still looks good and doesnt scratch off like paint does, and doesnt scratch like chrome. Also cheaper, and in the end the cost is handed down to the consumer (you). Remember - No dealers, no middle man.

Basically on the website your going to choose a size and series of sub(s). Choose the coil configuration that you want, and the motors will be machined for the particular coil that you choose. (Pick a dual 2ohm coil, then the motor is optimized for the best preformance for that coil, instead of being generalized for 3 different coil options) Each woofer, made to order. You'll see on the website soon!

I can see where you are going with the "no phones" deal, but while they may be inefficient, I would think they would be almost mandetory for customer service. I personally would not buy from an online retailer with no phone number posted on the site. Just by browsing the forum you can tell that no matter how quick you respond to email, there will always be those that don't think it is quick enough. Love the idea, but think the "no phones" should be reconsidered to ensure cumstomer service, which is vital for good "word of mouth" for a young company.

I can agree to an extent, but with the reputation Nick and Shawn already have, and the customer base which will mainly be the people who know of them, I don't see this posing a problem for them. Once they grow, things will change.
