I would suggest the 12W0 is overpriced for what you get. JL Audio makes GREAT stuff but they are like high end kinda mainstream. So you'll pay more for their name. Stick to either Image Dynamics or RE Audio for your sub.

Get a decent 4AWG kit for power and then just get like 40ft. of 12-16 AWG oxygen-free speaker wire. and you'll be good.

yeah im still searching for all this stuff..my birthday is next week haha so i'll be turning 18 and this is my present.. an audio system so im more then content with that.

so im trying to order everything for my bday on time.

so i think ill go with the RE12 u suggested.. and as for an amp , i still need suggestions.

for components i think ill do a cdt classic or psg with a sqx 125.2 amp

But when you wire it wire the sub in parallel and connect it bridged to the rear channel.

yeah if you wire it up properly that amp should be perfect for what you need at a decent price. I think 1/0 AWG wire is a bit overkill for what you're trying to accomplish currently but if you're going to keep this for a while without upgrading soon then I would just run 4 AWG.

haha what do you know..someone just told me the SE is a better bang for the buck or soemthing. oh well time to keep searchin, but right now im lookin at the RE12
